Stories Told Softly

Capturing love in its quietest, truest form

Your Love, As It Is

I’m here to document it in a way that feels authentic, effortless, and truly you. This is your day — the one you’ve quietly dreamed of and lovingly planned. My role is to witness it gently, capturing moments that reflect your unique story without rushing or staging. No stiff poses or forced smiles — just honest, heartfelt photography that embraces the love, connection, and joy you share.

Warm Welcome!

I’m Lana (she/her) — an elopement photographer and videographer, a quiet storyteller and gentle observer, splitting my time between the heart of Edinburgh, Scotland, and the dream of a home somewhere in the sunlit beauty of France. Drawn to the stillness found in wild places, I’m inspired by the tender moments that quietly unfold between two people in love. With a deep love for the misty Highlands and the soft light that shapes these lands, Scotland is where my story begins.

Outside of photography, I’m most at home wandering through new places with my dogs by my side. They remind me to stay present, to notice the quiet beauty in the everyday. I believe love lives in the small gestures — the shared laughter, the way someone reaches for your hand, the pause before a kiss. Those are the moments I want to preserve for you.

My Photography Journey & Approach

From Dog Chaperone to Documenting Love

My journey into photography began in an unexpected place — as a dog chaperone.

I helped bring beloved pets into the celebration, and in doing so, was invited into some of the most intimate, emotional moments of the day. Those early days taught me how beautifully personal weddings can be.

Today, I photograph weddings and elopements with a gentle, documentary approach, always looking for the deeper, quieter expressions of love.

My style blends the softness of fine art with the honesty of candid storytelling.

Why It Matters

We don’t always remember the details — but photography does.

It holds time still so you can return to it again and again. I want to create that for you: not just beautiful images, but feeling-full ones. A collection of memories that becomes part of your legacy — for you, for the people who love you now, and for those who come after.
